Roxanne is a musician and educator based in the East Midlands. She is committed to promoting music education in Leicester, and in addition to her work as Leicester MusicFest’s Artistic Director, she has worked on various projects to promote the organ to young people in the city, including workshop days, trips, student performance platforms, and a substantial organ education programme at English Martyrs' School, where she also co-directs the Schola Cantorum. She has overseen and advised on several organ scholarship schemes at Leicester churches, most recently at St Guthlac's, Knighton and St Anne's, Western Park. Roxanne is also engaged with music education issues on a national level as Director of the Young Organ Scholars Trust (YOST), a charity working to widen access to organ education for young people from diverse backgrounds.

Roxanne was organ scholar at Lincoln Cathedral, and at Christ’s College, Cambridge, where she accompanied and directed the choir on major international tours and played the organ for three recordings on the Regent label. She enjoys working with young adult singers, and for eleven years was Musical Director of Leicester University Chamber Choir. With LUCC she toured extensively and directed several recordings, most recently of sacred and secular choral miniatures by Paul Edwards. Roxanne has tutored choral conducting for the Jennifer Bate Organ Academy, and is an occasional choral composer, with a small handful of pieces in church and cathedral use.
